Welcome!
Hi and Welcome! My name is Allison and I am the Lead Associate Therapist with Inner Expansions. I provide sessions to individuals and couples virtually/online and I am trained in EMDR. I love that virtual sessions help relieve scheduling issues and commute time offering the flexibility that busy people need! I am passionate about helping people from all walks of life from teens to grandparents! I particularly love working with the deaf community as I am fluent in American Sign Language. I also genuinely enjoy helping couples reconnect and heal their relationships.
You might be someone who strives to be the best version of yourself but struggles to know how to get there. This might present as anxiety, depression, anger, unprocessed trauma, or low self-esteem. You may need help with processing emotions or learning healthy coping techniques. Within the context of a compassionate space, you can gain tools for emotional regulation, increased insight, and self compassion. Together, with this sense of safety, we can unpack specific traumas and heal your past to help you experience more ease and wholeness in your life.
Education and Training
Allison was Valedictorian at Alliant University, earning a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling in January of 2021. She has additional training in EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Language Skills
Allison is fluent in American Sign Language and committed to providing high quality therapy services to diverse populations.
Insurance and Fees
Allison's fee per session is $145. She is able to bill Anthem Blue Cross of CA, Aetna and CenCal directly for services under Inner Expansions Therapy Services. For all other insurance companies Inner Expansions can provide a Statement For Insurance Reimbursement (commonly called a "super bill") for you to request reimbursement from your health insurance plan.
